Washington Savings Bank currently has an opening for an experienced Commission Mortgage Loan Originator based in our Dracut Loan Center.

The qualified candidate will be responsible for originating new loan relationships with individuals and businesses in the Bank’s market. Knowledge of lending products and services is essential. The qualified candidate will have experience and knowledge in various lending functions such as: loan origination and applicable systems, knowledge of the MortgageBot system, strong computer skills specifically in Word and Excel, and a proven track record in selling, cross-selling, and cold calling to promote new business to the Bank.

The successful candidate, at minimum, must be a high school graduate with 3-5 years’ experience as a Loan Originator. The candidate must be detail oriented. The ideal candidate will have the ability to prioritize and organize workflow, have a good attention to detail, and must be able to multitask. Excellent customer service skills along with strong written and verbal communication skills are necessary for this position.

Pay: Full Commission or base plus commission

Job Type: Full-time
